Pants Vs. Snow

One of the fun things about working over night, is that I generally get to miss most of the idiots who commute in the morning. since they're mostly going the other direction. I'm extremely greatful for this on days like today, aka the first snowfall of the year.
I'm from alberta. so I was pretty much raised in a 10 foot snow drift.
meaning I'm CLEARLY a far superior driver in these conditions.
it's like the second someone see's snow they forget everything they've ever learned while driving. and it's when you're going painfully SLOW on snowy streets that most accidents happen. it's frustrating.
and when it takes me a full 20 minutes more to get home because you're white knuckling ass can't get the spedometer up past 15, that I spend the majority of my trip home thinking about being elected to office so I can make genocide legal.
with that said...there really is nothing nicer than crawling under a warm ass feather duvet when it's freezing cold outside.
which is exactly where I am headed now.
