environment canada refuses to call it a weather warning - yet - I bet that shit changes tomorrow.
loonie sized hail. aka the most canadian thing that's ever been said in relation to the weather since - Snow.
I loves me a good storm. Smokes - not so much.
there was a bit of thunder tumbling around this weekend and she used that as an excuse to find 10 more hiding spots that I now have to check daily to see where she's at. that cat, I tells you. that cat.
I'm hoping the storm saves it's best light show for after the wedding shower I'm attending tomorrow, so I can at least catch part of it.
I've been asking people all day, what's the etiquette on wedding showers? do you get them a shower gift, and then a wedding gift? that's a lot of gifts. esp when you're just giving cash. (that's what they're asking for, calm down. I'm not a uncaring twat) I think a clever card for shower, then a fancy card for wedding with a big ole cheque. that's not tacky...right?
regardless, I'm stoked for the wedding. I should probably start considering what the fuck I'm going to wear though. ugh. summer is for skinny people.
