Out of sheer boredom today I decided to go on a random blog adventure.
I started off reading Dooce, who I fell head over heels in love with last summer when I picked up a copy of her book "It sucked. and then I cried" at the dollar table in chapters. I tend to only buy books based on their titles these days, because otherwise I just have a bunch of existential or philosophical or true crime bullshit clogging up my reading time. and honestly, philosophy is boring.
anyways. Dooce led me to a friend of her's blog, which is also on blog spot. I can't recall her name anymore, nor do I really care to track it down again since it was just her posting pictures of herself being a hipster. and since I hate hipsters, I wont support their attempt at taking over the interwebs.
from there I just kept randomly hitting "next blog" until it became abundantly clear that the only people who write blogs anymore are hipsters who think they're amateur photographers or graphic designers. note this hipsters - having a watermark does not make you a professional photographer. neither do taking lame ass pictures of your trendy mullets. or wearing big ass ugly glasses that you don't even really need. you just look fucking stupid.
AND CAPS LOCK CAN'T EVEN CONVEY MY DISGUST FOR THOSE GOD DAMN SHORTS YOU INSIST ON PULLING UP SO HIGH THAT THEY GIVE YOU FUCKING BRAIN DAMAGED ASSHATS A GUNT SO LARGE IT PERMENANTLY BURNS ITSELF INTO MY RETINAS.
oh. and people who love jesus just a bit too much.
this all annoyed me greatly. so I gave up and did laundry instead. *sigh* I fucking hate hipsters.
in totally unrelated news - I'm venturing back into the world of WORK tomorrow. something I haven't had to do in SEVEN WHOLE MONTHS.
to make matters worse, I am forced to wear 'business appropriate clothing' AND SEE THE FUCKING SUNSHINE FOR MORE THAN 10 MINUTES.
I imagine my ranting regarding the daylight will continue further in the coming 6 weeks of torture I have to endure before reclaiming my rightful place in the night shift world. can't come soon enough.
thought of the day...
I love capslock.
